Glutamine is an essential amino acid that is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, it facilitates the growth and repair of the intestinal lining.

Slippery elm is a traditional herb for easing inflammation in the stomach and intestines.

Ingredients

Makes 1 serving

  • 1/2 banana
  • 250ml coconut water
  • 1/4 tsp probiotic powder
  • 1 tbsp L-glutamine powder
  • 1 tsp slippery elm powder
  • 1 large handful of kale
  • 1/2 ripe pear de-cored and chopped
  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
  • 30g vanilla vegan protein powder

Put all ingredients into a blender, nuke and serve immediately.
